My day today: Dec.17th.05

So ya the first thing I did that was fun this morning was to get showered, dressed and have breakfast. Following this, I went out with my dad to get a christmas tree: where we in for a treat! He take me and mr. Keeping up to a old rocky road in Pearlview where someone cut down 4 trees and just left them there. Basically in under 30 minutes, we got it in the truck, ot home, trimmed it down, into the house, stood up and watered! And we did all this for free: and it's a "newfie tree" as my dad would say!

more to be posted...

Next, I practised my guitar and then I had lunch and headed off to guitar lessons at strings n' things. My guitar teacher, Chuck showed me "silent night" and " O christmas Tree" on guitar and the rest of the intro. for "one " by metallica ( there are plenty of good tab sights for guitar!)

So ya afterwards, me and my dad kinda run some messages, and headed towards Rock City. Basically, we inquired about taking rock vocals there , when i could start, what day, what time, how long and how much: I start rock vocals on tuesday! (Farewell Take Note: thanks for helping me with my Voice Lessons for the last 6 and a 1/2 years but it's time for me to move on!) Then after playing for it, I got my Rock City t-shirt!!!!!!

Afterwards, we browsed at some gifts for my sister and what not!

So ya, then I got home, talked with one of my sister's friends about school and life in general and practised my guitar for guitar lessons. Other than that, I listened to some modern music, talked to Kristina N. ,chatted on the phone, msn and studied for my AP Psych. test on Mod.23-27 on memory and the m.c will be on mod.1-27!!!

As for tomorrow, I dunno if i'll have time to go to church or not: it's been 8 weeks (maybe going on 9 weeks) since i've went!!!!
Basically, it depends on how much studying i need to do tomorrow and other homework as well.

On an interesting note, me and kristina chatted while i practised playing christmas carols on the guitar. And well, she noticed that I had changed since i'd last talked to her: she agreed that i'm less conforming, more active and outgoing and a more all-or-nothing kind of guy, more confrontal and more in touch with reality while still keeping a relationship with god: despite my lack of time for reading the bible!

Also, Justin F. invited me to his Christmas party for thursday. Also, I gotta memorize "goodbye to romance" by ozzy osbourne for the talent show and get it down flat: otherwise fred and dean will be on my case! ( But they just want us to do the best we can at the talent show) Also, Mitchell is gonna be doing a stand-up comedy tribute for the talent show and said me and him should jam sometime!

Plans for Monday, Dec.12th/05 so far..

1. Choir /chamber choir in the morning...

2. Badminton from 3-4:30 p.m

3. Bishops College Christmas concert at the Salvation Army citadel ( near the school)

That's all for now! ( write a comment or e-mail me on msn if you have any more questions!)

My weekend so far: Dec. 9-11th

The highlights of my weekend:
Friday,Dec. 9th
- Stayed home and practised on my electric guitat for guitar lessons
Saturday , Dec.10th - Had Guitar lessons: got taught a classic rock guitar rift and the beginning guitar tabs for " one" by metallica - Went to see Scrooge at the Arts and culture centre ( it was amazing!) I realized that the play really goes to show what can happen if you let anything become all-consuming in your life to the extreme...
- practised guitar some more
Sunday, Dec.11th - Relaxed and read the acknowledgements and foreword of " economic possibilities for our time" with a foreword by Bono - Went to watch my cousin play in one of 8 master bands at the master band showcase at club one from 1-3:30 p.m - at the concert, the last band was all the music teachers at rock city in one band: they were amazing!
Unfortunately, can't say I spent as much time studying as I should've!
